Minor, who will be 31 come Opening Day, appeared in 23 games with Toledo last year where he posted a 2-0 record and 2.50 ERA in 36 innings coming out of the Mud Hens bullpen.
Jimenez, 28, also appeared in 23 games for his team last season (the Tacoma Rainiers (AAA-Seattle)), where he went 2-2 with a 5.75 ERA in 40.2 innings out of the bullpen.
Minor has been a starter for the Tigers over the years so he may get a shot in Spring Training to fill the void left in the Phillies' rotation by Vance Worley's departure, but both of these guys could definitely be on the IronPigs' 2013 Opening Day roster.
In my free agent update on Thursday I did not mention that the Phillies had signed catcher Humberto Quintero back in late November. With Carlos Ruiz suspended for the first 25 games, he will probably start the year with the Phillies, but you never know.
