Stuff

In an effort to keep my New Year's resolution of posting everyday almost everyday (see: yesterday, no post), here's a bunch of notes that I've had laying around, but aren't worthy of their own post...

Matt Provence launched his own website this offseason and he was nice enough to link B&B's Provence Glossary under the "Fans Speak" section. You should check it out: www.MattProvence.com

If you haven't looked at the page tabs under the blog header in a while, I have added an IronPigs Free Agent Tracker which I update as often as possible (and if it's necessary to do so).

This off-season we saw Reading and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre do a complete re-branding of their franchises. Buffalo (now a Toronto affiliate) also released their new logo for 2013:
Construction of Charlotte's new stadium has begun. It looks a lot like Durham's.

The Knights' new home, coming April 2014
The Phantoms lost leading scorer Brayden Schenn, second leading scorer Sean Couturier, Zac Rinaldo, and Eric Wellwood to the Flyers. They had lost forward Tye McGinn as well, but he was sent back down.

Goalie Brian Boucher, who the Flyers brought back in a trade on Sunday, will join the Phantoms.

Phantoms forward Shane Harper pummeled a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin last Saturday in a fight that started just a second into the second period. (The Pens would win the game 2-1).

Friendly reminder that B&B is on Twitter and YouTube! As of the publishing of this post we're just 2 Twitter followers shy of 200!

  1. Always been a Bison fan, that's why even my organizers and some pocket folders were designed by the Bison's logo. And yeah, when I attended a live game I go all out in showing off that I'm a true-blooded Bison fan.

  2. What I like the most whenever there's an incoming MLB game is the unique supporting items with the team you are rooting. I often collect those kind of stuff because they are just too good to be in trash and beside it'll become a memorabilia later on.
