3. Chase Utley & Ryan Howard Rehab at Coca-Cola Park (June 26, July 1-3, 5)
No rehab appearance has ever been bigger than Chase Utley's was on June 26. Very likely the biggest crowd in Coca-Cola Park history (officially listed at full-capacity of 10,100, but there were probably a few more than that) saw Chase go 2 for 5 with a solo HR. Then in July Ryan Howard played in four rehab games with the Pigs (although the excitement level was much lower). He went 5 for 12 (.417) with a HR and 6 RBI.
Other players (Phillies or otherwise) to rehab at Coca-Cola Park in 2012 included: Darnell McDonald (Red Sox), Laynce Nix, Nate Schierholtz, Evan Longoria (Rays), and Jeff Keppinger (Rays).
Never mind not including the good moments of the Phillies season (as there is nothing good about it), but I like the baseball card effect of these pictures alongside the textile format. You should do one for the World Baseball Classic.
