9. Ground (Officially) Broken on Allentown Arena (November 29)
Work on the Allentown arena had been ongoing (though not consistently) for months, but on November 29 the Phantoms and local leaders held an official groundbreaking ceremony to kick-off what will now be visible construction on the building set to open in 2014. Some form of an actual structure should start to appear in March.
