Started one summer night in 2010, Bacon and Biscuits is a fan blog dedicated to Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball and Lehigh Valley Phantoms hockey. Since that summer night, Bacon and Biscuits has undergone many design changes and, let's call them "work stoppages," but the blog's goal remains the same: create a place on the web for Lehigh Valley fans to follow the serious and fun side of IronPigs baseball and Phantoms hockey.

The Name
The name Bacon and Biscuits represents both teams covered on this blog. "Bacon" represents the IronPigs and "Biscuits," a popular nickname for a hockey puck, represents the Phantoms.

Bacon and Biscuits is often referenced simply as "B&B."

The Logo
The MS Paint created Bacon and Biscuit characters with the blog's title above, 2010 on the sides (the year the blog started), Allentown at the bottom, and 610 (the Valley's area code) directly underneath.
